Make a list from the complete look

Lay out each outfit with the accessories you will wear. Include small fastenings, combs, spare pins, and anything you plan to change at the reception. A photograph of each group can help you check the packing without repeatedly handling delicate pieces.

Give jewelry its own space

Separate necklaces, bracelets, and earrings so closures and stones do not catch together. Fasten chains before storing them and use individual pouches or the appropriate presentation channels. Do not pack jewelry loose against tulle, lace, or satin.

Support shape and texture

Keep bows, structured bags, and headbands supported rather than compressed under other items. Protect veil combs and edges. Follow the product’s own guidance on hanging, rolling, or folding; materials with similar names may need different care.

Keep liquids separate

Store fragrance and other liquids away from accessories that could mark or snag. Check closures before travel and use a separate protective pouch. Do not spray perfume directly onto jewelry or delicate fabric.

Plan the return journey too

Bring the same protective pouches home. Let worn pieces dry fully and follow their care guidance before long-term storage. Keep a small list of anything that needs professional attention rather than treating a mark in a hurry.
